Q-Switched Laser Technology

Q-Plus – EVO Series is a powerful Q-Switched laser technology available in 6 different configurations to better adapt to every user needs ensuring maximum versatility.
In the same system it is possible to insert up to two different laser sources: pure Q-Switched or hybrid Q-Switched/Pulsed. This system takes great advantage on active solid- state Q-Switched lasers without using inefficient and consumable dye handpieces which are really common in other systems on the market.

Q-Plus is the ideal solution to perform a great range of treatments among which benign pigmented lesions treatment, tattoo removal, skin resurfacing/rejuvenation, dermatological vascular lesions treatment.

How Does Q-Switched Laser Work?

Q-Switched sources (in very short pulses (6ns), deliver very high peak power (hundreds
of Mega Watts) enabling a highly efficient photo-acoustic effect and drastically reducing thermal interaction with tissue. As a result, undesired tattoos and pigmentations of the skin can be fragmented in small particles to be removed through the natural process of phagocytosis. The Pulses additional modules effectively perform dermatological vascular lesions treatment and treatment of aged and pigmented skin.

These modules are composed of QS Nd:YAG 1064 nm, 532 nm (Q-Switched pulse, Opti-Pulse, and photo-Thermal Pulse) and Ruby 694 nm (Q-Switched pulse and photo-Thermal pulse).

The effects are based on the selective thermal damage of the skin targets such as melanin, blood and water.
The contact Skin Cooler provides skin cooling during laser treatment, effectively reducing the pain and allowing the use of the proper fluencies especially for vascular lesions treatments to reduce potential side effects.
