While Sculptra is approved and widely used for hand rejuvenation in many other countries, it is important to note that it is still not currently approved by Health Canada for the areas like the hand and neck. what should i do after the procedure?

To ensure the best results and an even distribution of the product, it is essential to follow specific aftercare steps following your Sculptra treatment. For the first 24 hours, please do not apply any makeup or skincare products to the treated area to allow the injection sites to heal and prevent infection. Most importantly, you must follow the “Rule of 5” to help the collagen-stimulating particles settle correctly: massage the treated areas 5 times a day, for 5 minutes at a time, for 5 consecutive days. Please ensure you massage the area exactly as the instructions given during your session to ensure the product is distributed evenly. While you may experience some minor swelling or bruising, adhering to this massage routine and avoiding strenuous exercise for the first day will help achieve a smooth, natural-looking rejuvenation.

What should I do before the procedure?

If you are taking any blood thinners, your doctor may advise you to stop them a few days prior to the procedure.
